Garlic goodness

This week I pulled the last of the garlic from the garden and in its place I planted beans. There is something so satisfying about harvesting and eating food that you grow yourself. I planted this garlic back in February and have been patiently waiting for the tops to turn brown and the stalks to fall over (signs they are ready to be dug up).
Here it sits, curing on our windowsill, waiting to be enjoyed :)
