The reason for the season

This Christmas morning, I feel blessed to have a healthy happy family. I love how everything is closed on Christmas day and how, since we do dinner and presents on Christmas eve, I have all day to reflect on the year and how very blessed I am. In this world there are so many who go hungry...many who fight and suffer from  addiction...and many children who are born into unloving families. The world is not a pretty place, and that is just reality. So this Christmas I feel blessed to have been born into a loving family, to have found my soul mate, and to have food to eat and warm shelter.
Life is so very good.
