One dish dinner: roasted chicken and root vegetables

 To me nothing says fall like a hearty one dish meal. I love roasted root vegetables, too. For this dish, you will need:
1 chicken
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp red pepper flake
1/2 tsp salt
1/2tsp granulated garlic (or 3 cloves of fresh, diced)
1/2 lb carrots
1/2 lb potatoes (I used one russet and one red)
1 onion, chopped
 Put everything in a dish. Sprinkle with seasonings. Drizzle with just a small amount of oil. Cook uncovered, 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 /1/2 hours.

What a pretty bird! Tastey too....
This will warm up any cool fall day.
