Chili 'n rice!

Chili:
1 large can diced tomatoes
4 cups of beans
1.5 cups corn
1 lb ground meat (we use turkey)
1 diced onion
1 chopped bell pepper
2.5 cups water
2 TBS chili powder
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder


Brown the meat, bell pepper and onion in a large stock pot. When cooked through, add spices and combine thoroughly. 

Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for a few hours on your stove. We Serve ours over rice with cheese and mustard on top.

This batch made three hearty meals; one for today and two for later! I froze the extras in freezer sized plastic bags.
