What frugal eating looks like: this weeks snapshot

I was incredibly lazy this week when it came to taking pictures. Although I must say, if there were any a week to slack off, this would have been a good one. We ate a lot of zucchini this week from the garden. My plant was going crazy, I think I pulled 5 off of one plant this week, all fairly large. We also ate a lot of salad.

Anyways, that pear butter I posted about? Well, it actually turned out pretty good. It could have gone longer in the crockpot, so its more like pear sauce, but whatever. It's good on toast, and I didn't have to throw out some overly ripe pears. No waste=awesome!
